Ksport Big Brake Kits come with many additions options, please contact us for a personal consultation to select your perfect new stopping power!

About;

Ksport big brake kits provide the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. Integrating new brake technology into the design of the kits allows for a kit that highly reduces brake fade and continually cools and refreshes the brake pads surface under braking. These brake systems are designed for easy installation with minimal tools required (in most applications).  Our extreme lightweight one piece caliper comes in differential bore configuration. It is CNC machined from aircraft quality billet, weighs just over 5lbs. each, and has machined in protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Aluminum pistons, high temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates are also standard on each caliper design. The opposed piston caliper design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over the OEM design. The stainless steel brake lines stop expansion under pressure.

We utilize a 2-piece disc assembly, which reduces weight both rotating and unsprung. Many applications have a floating disc option which stops thermal stresses of extreme heat from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. Our unique slot design on the rotor greatly reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional slot designs. Every rotor is always heat treated and balanced before shipment for the best possible performance. Cross drilled rotors tend to run cooler than slotted and are recommended for daily driven vehicles. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that will be seeing more track use than daily driving.

Details;

*Front 6 pot calipers for 11” and 12” systems
6 pot lightweight aluminum calipers are standard in our 11” and 12” front big brake systems. The opposed piston caliper design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over the OEM design.

Front 8 pot calipers for 13” and 14” systems
8 pot lightweight aluminum calipers are standard in our 13” and 14” front big brake systems. The opposed piston caliper design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over the OEM design.

*Rear 2 pot calipers for 11” and 12” systems
2 pot lightweight aluminum calipers are standard in our 11” and 12” rear big brake systems. The large 2 piston caliper design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over the OEM design.

*Rear 4 pot calipers for 13” and 14” systems
4 pot lightweight aluminum calipers are standard in our 13” and 14” rear big brake systems. The opposed piston caliper design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over the OEM design.

*Cross drilled rotors
Cross drilled rotors are the best option for a daily driven street car.  Drilled rotors tend to run slightly cooler than slotted.  Both types have increased “bite” over stock and continuously clean and refresh the pad surface.

*Slotted rotors
Slotted rotors are recommended for race applications. Both types have increased “bite” over stock and continuously clean and refresh the pad surface.

*Two piece rotors
All of our ProComp brake systems feature 2 piece rotors.  The main benefit to 2 piece rotors is they are extremely lightweight compared to oem one piece rotors.  It is fairly common for our rotors to weigh up to 50% less than oem rotors of the same size.

*Floating rotor option
For an additional cost you can upgrade any 13” and 14” system to floating rotors.  The floating disc stops thermal stresses of extreme heat from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface.

*Carbon steel caliper brackets
Every kit comes with CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets.  Due to our calipers being much larger than oem, these brackets help our system bolt right up to your oem caliper bracket location.

*Stainless steel brake lines
D.O.T compliant stainless steel braided brake lines are standard in all of our brake kits.  Stainless steel brake lines improve overall pedal feel and provide quicker pedal response.

*Optional race pads
SC5 street pads are standard equipment in our brake kits along with an option for our race pads.  Street pads are ceramic and race pads are carbon metallic.  Race pads are NOT recommended for street use due to their working temperature being much higher than street pads.

*12 month limited warranty
All Ksport big brake kits come standard with an 12 month warranty which covers manufacturer defects.
